[Ocean Soul] The text is just so you can see how it will look with text - I only chose Arial there because it's neutral and doesn't take away any of the mood ;) The green is because it is a very relaxing and very natural color, and this seems to match the business.

[DarkJenni] - Just a little something along the lines of a place holder, I can think of some things as I go, its kinda plain now. I'm also not so sure on how to resize these things on Photoshop or Illustrator since thats what I had used.

Medium quality JPG exported from InDesign. I was fiddling with tritone and duotone. The original InDesign file only contains three pantone colours.

2006-11-02 [Elisha Kelly]: I will confess that I won a competition like this in highschool, it was for a logo for a womans crisis shelter... and I beat out proper graphic artists and everything :P mind you the reason I won was some advice my art teacher gave me... simple works best :P since then I have loved doing logos and stuff :D fun fun fun!

2006-11-02 [Ocean Soul]: Mhh I never really learned how to do this -_- I just love vector shapes and things that are simple (simple does not have to mean easy or boring though) ^_^

2006-11-02 [Elisha Kelly]: yup :D thats what I think... I really wish I had went on to do graphic art instead of falling pregnant... but now I have other plans :P I worked at an embroidery place once and it was amazing just how simple colours and fonts could change the logo of something... :) sometimes with art it is to easy to get bogged down with all the details... sometimes it's nice to have a break and do some lovely simple designs :D
